Upon arrival at Yangon International airport, transfer to hotel and check in. Afternoon sightseeing starts with Chauk Htat Gyi, reclining Buddha. Then to famous Shwedagon Pagoda, the world greatest pagoda gilded with golden leaves and can see so many pilgrims who offered flowers, incense sticks and candles to Buddha Images. Then to Karaweik Hall, a royal floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake, for photo stops. Late afternoon back to hotel and overnight.
Morning sightseeing starts from Kabar Aye Pagoda ; Mahapasana Guha Cave, where sixth synod took palace, and National Museum, will see the splendid Lion Throne and display of golden wares and you can imagine the profound significant of development of the Last Kingdom of Kongbaung Dynasty. Afternoon drive to Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, proceed to Botataung Pagoda, where sacred hair relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined in it and drive to Mawtin Jetty and take a trishaw along the Strand Road. Back to hotel and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Pyay, is located 285 km north-west of Yangon which can be reached in about 5 hrs. Afternoon sightseeing with Shwesandaw Pagoda, the Srikshetra, an old capital of Pyu Kingdom and Hmawza archaeological Museum. Late afternoon drive to the bank of Ayerwaddy river for sunset and panoramic view. Overnight in Pyay.
After breakfast drive to Bagan, 399 km far from Pyay. Upon arrival Bagan check in hotel and overnight.
After breakfast start sightseeing from Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon pagoda, the phototype of later Myanmar stupas, built in early 11th century; Wetkyi-inn Gubyaukgyi temple, with fine mural paintings of Jakata scenes; Htilominlo temple, famous for its plaster carvings. Afternoon Archaeological museum, Anada temple, architectural masterpiece; Anada Okkyaung, a monastery with 18th century mural paintings; Dahmayangyi Temple, the most massive temple , Mingalar Zedi, the last pagoda in Bagan dynasty and Shwesandaw pagoda, from here can watch the sunset view of Bagan.
After breakfast morning sightseeing to Minnanthu village, Laymyethna pagoda, Payathonzu Temple with colourful paintings and Tayokepyay Temple with plaster carvings. Afternoon continue to lacquer ware industry; Sein-nyet Temple and pagoda; Abeyadana Temple; Nanpaya; Mya Zedi, the four languages stone inscriptions; Shwegugyi Temple and Bupaya pagoda at the bank of the Ayerwaddy River for the sunset. Overnight in Bagan.
Early morning drive to Mandalay. On the way visit Mt. Popa, home of Myanmar's most powerful “Nats” or Spirit Gods and Popa Mountain Park operated by Nature and Wildlife Conservation Division. In this area, there are over 150 different species of medical plants and animals. Then proceed to Mandalay and overnight in Mandalay.
In the morning drive to Amarapura and visit Maha Gandaryon Monastery, the Buddhist University, and silk and cotton weaving, U Bein Bridge, 1.2 km long teak bridge and then to Mahamuni Pagoda, Buddha Bronze Image which was casted during Buddha’s life time, duplicate of his features. In the afternoon visit Mandalay Royal Palace, Zaygyo market, Shwenandaw Monastery noted for its wood carvings. The Autumashi (Incomparable) Monastery which is declared National Treasure and Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist Sculptures and Mandalay Hill for a panoramic view of Mandalay City.
Early morning excursion to Mingun, crossing the Ayerwaddy River by boat and huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda, Mingun Bell which weighs 90 tons and the Settawya Buddha’s footprint pagoda. Return to Mandalay. Afternoon visit Sagaing over Ava Bridge across the Ayerwaddy River. Sagaing Kaungmudaw, an enormous dome shaped pagoda and Sagaing Hills with monasteries with monks and nuns, all with shaven heads and robed devoted to Buddhism. Back to Mandalay and overnight.
Morning fly back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and check in. After short relaxing and afternoon drive to Bogyoke market, so many shops with gems, jewelleries, clothing and souvenir , etc. Then to China town and will see crowded people, buying and selling things and so many food stalls both sides of the bustling streets. Drive back to hotel and overnight.
Transfer to Yangon international airport for departure.
