Myanmar is located in South East Asia and border with Thailand,
Laos, India and China. Myanmar is the largest country in South
East Asia. Total area of Myanmar is 678,500 square kilometer
(262,000 square miles). Its population is around 65 million
conducted from 2014 census but not exactly outcome yet.
Now Myanmar is opened to all to view with her panoramic and
scenic landscapes, splendid and breath-taking architectural
ancient heritage temples, colonial buildings, traditional
costumes, variety of national tribes and snowcapped mountains.

In Myanmar there are three seasons such as the hot season, the rainy season and the cold season.
The hot season is from February to May, the rainy season is from June to September and the cold season is from October to January. In July and August, it usually rains heavily. The average temperature is 21 °C (70 °F) and northern part of Myanmar is the coolest. Coastal and delta area have the maximum of temperature 32 °C (89.6 °F).
There are mainly 8 national tribes lived in all over Myanmar.
The main tribes are called Myanmar (pronounced Bamar also) and the others are Kachin, Kayin, Kayah, Chin, Mon, Rakine and Shan.
The main tribes live in all over Myanmar and origin of Myanmar are Pyu and Mon. The first settlers were the Pyu who migrated into Northern Myanmar and established several city states in second century. Then around sixth century, The Mon migrated from east India, established a kingdom known as Suvarnabhumi or the Golden Land around Bago. They brought religion and distinctive arts to Myanmar.
Kachin tribes are also known as Janephaw who live in northern Myanmar, Kachin State that has snowcapped mountains and iced mountains, as known as Phonekhanrazi, Khagaborazi become very popular and tourists’ attraction place. The origin of Ayerwaddy river join together with the rivers of May Kha and Malikha in this state. Phakhant region in this state produce the famous Myanma jade.
Most of Kayin tribes live in Kayin State but these tribes can be seen in all over Myanmar. Kayin State is very close and border with Thailand.
also known as Kayan live in Kayah State. One of this tribe is called Padaung, who wear the bronze rings in their necks are attracted to the foreigners.
Chin tribes who live in Chin State, the hill region near by Indian states of Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Assam. Most of the Chin tribes are Christians.
Mon tribes are originated of Mon-Khmar of ancient time. Majority of the inhabitant are Mons and Bamars. They live in Mon State, southern Myanmar.
Rakhine tribes live western Rakhine coast and speak in Myanmar language but the accent and form of their language varies from the language of Ayerwaddy Valley. Rakhine State locates along the coast of Bay of Bangal.
Shan tribes live in Shan State which is eastern Myanmar and the biggest state in Myanmar. The Most of Shan state is hill side and the weather is cool and Inle Lake is in Shan State and very popular tourist destination region in Myanmar.
In Myanmar, two international airports, Yangon international
airport and Mandalay international airport. You can directly fly
from Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Guang Zhou, Ching Mai,
Bejing, Hong Kong, Narita, Japan and Soul, Korea to Yangon.
Till last year in Myanmar, there are five domestic airlines and now six airlines including Golden Myanmar Airline. But this airline is based from Mandalay to other destinations at the moment. This airline is budget airline.
The rest are based from Yangon to other destinations.
